Mailbox Monday 4/29

It's time for another Mailbox Monday which was created by Marcia at The Printed Page, and this month is hosted by Mari of MariReads.

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week... Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish list

This is what showed up at my house last week.

Bristol House by Beverly Swerling (giveaway win, from A Bookish Way of Life)
The Apple Orchard by Susan Wiggs (for review, from Etch Communications)
The Guardian by Beverly Lewis (for review, from Bethany House)

  7. I am listening to Bristol House on audio right now, and it's pretty good. It takes a bit to ramp up, and I wasn't that thrilled with it early on, but it's getting infinitely more interesting the more I listen. I hope that you enjoy it, and all your others!

  10. Hi Holly,

Congratulations on your giveaway win, they are always satisfying, don't you think?

All three of your authors are new to me this week and I couldn't choose between a couple of your books, so I have addded both to my list ... 'The Apple Orchard' and 'The Guardian' ... it just had to be done!!

Enjoy the rest of your week,

    Yvonne

  11. I haven't seen any of these but added two new books this week:
"The Paris Wife" by Paula McLain and
    "Ed King" by David Gutersson.

Looking forward to reading both of them.
