#CoverCrush: Partitions

I will freely admit that I judge books by their covers. The cover is usually what first captures my attention when browsing Goodreads or Netgalley. Actually, in all honesty, it isn't just usually, it's pretty much all the time. The cover determines if I look at the synopsis and reviews.

This cover just spoke to me. Perhaps it's because of all the attention that refugees are getting this last week. Perhaps it's two young boys, likely from somewhere in the Middle East, or perhaps India. Are they friends? Are they brothers? They are barefoot and a bit ragged. What are their circumstances? Where are their parents? The Mom in me just wants to reach out and draw them in.

What about you? Any book covers capture your attention this week?
