There are just too many great books out there begging to be read, to ever contemplate reading a book more than once!

My books are always passed on to family members on my husbands side of the family, who are also avid readers, or taken to the charity shop where I volunteer, to be sold.

The latest craze around here, is for villagers to turn redundant old fashioned telephone boxes, into mini lending libraries, where you can go to exchange books. Now I always have a small bag of books in the boot of the car when we are out and about, so that I can leave a few in one of these 'pop up' libraries, when we come across them. I may even borrow one or two in exchange, although only if hubbie isn't looking!

Nice post, I enjoyed replying to this one.

YvonneYvonne @ Fiction Books Reviewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14821114534056290177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297699931886361246.post-92138536442904661982014-08-08T17:33:23.968-06:002014-08-08T17:33:23.968-06:00I'm so glad you focus on giving your kids book...I'm so glad you focus on giving your kids books of their own. I know I like having physical copies of books, but I have my e-reader stuffed full as well. The neighbor asked them to come over and take what they wanted. When they went to her house, she had a tiny bookcase, waist-high, and that was it. My kids were aghast. We have 6 floor to ceiling bookcases and several smaller ones.

It's funny what some people think. If she hadn't gone on and on about how many books she had, my teens probably wouldn't have thought anything about it.Heidi’sbookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15647096496574605262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297699931886361246.post-21629711182147295322014-08-07T10:47:19.104-06:002014-08-07T10:47:19.104-06:00I completely agree--nothing more fun to see if my ...I completely agree--nothing more fun to see if my taste is similar or not with a friend or relative.
