As a Doctor, whenever I get a chance to read a book like this I think about what I can take from it for my patients. The funny thing is, reading this book, I started to realize that there was a lot in this book that I could apply to me! It’s rather illuminating to recognize yourself in the list of symptoms, and realize that in order to have any credibility with patients in recommending this book, I needed to be doing it myself.

I don’t often say this when reading a book by a medical Doctor, but I really like this book. As the world around us gets more and more intense, and we are exposed to more stressors every day, we need to be spending some time unplugged from the world, and focusing on ourselves.

This book has a lot to offer. Dr. Lee covers not just the nutritional aspects of what she calls Superstress’, but also the physical and emotional aspects of the healing that needs to take place. If you follow just some of the guidelines she offers, you’ll find help with living longer and happier.
