Mailbox Monday 9/20

It's time for another Mailbox Monday, which was created by Marcia at the Printed Page, and this month is hosted by Kathy at Bermudaonion.

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week (checked out library books don’t count, eBooks and audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

This is what arrived at my home last week.

Key Lime Pie, by Josi Kilpack (from Pump Up Your Book Promotion)
The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins (borrowed from a friend)
A Way with Words, by Christin Ditchfield (giveaway win from Reading to Know)
The Waiting, by Suzanne Woods Fisher (from LitFuse Publicity)
Democrats are Dumb, by Mark W. Stephens (from Bostick Communications)
Your Best Body Now, by Tosca Reno (FSB Associates)

What new books did you receive last week?

  5. Kathy and I may tie for being the last two people on earth to read The Hunger Games. Sometimes the more popular something is, the more I'll drag my feet about reading it until all the hype dies away. But then I tend to be weird like that. Happy reading!

  7. "The Hunger Games" looks interesting. I have yet to try any of the series, but I was reluctant about Harry Potter and now it is one of my all-time favourite series! Maybe I should take the plunge...

  8. I'll be interested to see what you think of The Hunger Games. I've read gazillions of reviews, but I've never actually read the books. Not sure I will, unless I win a copy or something like that. = )

  14. Great Mailbox! Here's what I have to say about "The Hunger Games" ... don't start it unless you have a lot of time on your hands, because you won't want to put it down until you know what happens! Just fair warning, as I went through both "The Hunger Games" and "Catching Fire" in less than 24 hours of almost straight reading (with a little time thrown in for sleep!)
